Do you offer financial aid?
Once you have been accepted as a CCU student, you are eligible to apply for financial aid. CCU financial aid works like a tuition discount. Students who are eligible can receive up to 20% off tuition. Calvary Chapel University holds to the following financial aid philosophy: We will partner with the student and his or her family to arrange financing for the student’s education, using the individual’s resources, the family’s resources, and CCU’s resources. Demonstrated need will be measured by a consistent and equitable need-analysis system. To be fair to all students seeking aid, need must be based objectively on a family’s financial resources — that is, on their ability to pay, not their willingness to pay. Special circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and we use our professional judgment to determine when adjustments can be made. Financial Aid Application

How can I find if classes I’ve already taken can transfer into CCU?
You contact your previous college/university institution and have them mail an official transcript to:
Calvary Chapel University
8344 Clairemont Mesa Blvd Suite #100 San Diego, CA 92111
It should take 1-2 weeks to review and get a response as to how many and what units transfer to CCU.
What should I expect in regards to the time commitment and my level of interaction in each course?
Each course is 8 weeks long. In that 8 week period, most courses are broken up into 8, one week units. We designed the rigor for each course to be approximately 7-10 hours a week, per course. The expectation is that students are logging into each course throughout each week interacting with the instructor and other students via the discussion board, tests, quizzes, projects, etc.. All courses are asynchronous. Students are not required to log in, take a test or watch a video conference on a particular day and time. Most weekly assignments are due by Sunday night 11:59 pm.
What kind of assignments and activities will I be doing in a CCU online course?
CCU is a university of higher learning! Depending on your program level, students may be required to read various texts, take tests, write research papers, complete projects, watch videos, listen to audio files, create multimedia presentations, participate in online forums/chats, serve in your church or community, make oral presentations, etc.
