Our History

Calvary Chapel University has at its heart been birthed through prayer. It began as Calvary Chapel Teachers College in 2005 with the goal of training Christian educators to start and supernaturally operate distinctively Christian schools in excellence. CCTC expanded into Calvary Chapel University with the addition of the College of Biblical Leadership and the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences in 2008.

Our Vision

The vision of Calvary Chapel University is to transform the Christian Education world in Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit for the glory of God: “And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2 NKJV

CCU is an evangelical Christian community of educators and scholars who seek to advance the work of God in the world through a distinctly Christian approach to Christian education, focusing on Simply Jesus, Superior Academics and Servant Leadership.
